Sell my Rivian R1T
Your Rivian R1T (2022–2025) is a electric midsize pickup truck — and in Los Angeles County there is always another buyer for one that runs. Skip the listing, the messages, and the no-shows: one intake, one clear offer, free pickup.
The price holds as long as the vehicle, title, mileage, and condition match what you submitted. If hidden or unreported damage is found at pickup, we’ll make the adjustment and give you a counter-offer on the spot — and the decision is yours.
Battery, glass, panels, and exterior damage from the 14-point checklist — each priced in plainly.
Sedans, SUVs, and vans from any maker, clean or with fixable issues.
Toyota, Honda, Nissan, and Subaru hold up in Southern California, and we price them that way.
Pickups are the top of our want list — working trucks, high-mileage trucks, Japanese trucks included.
We buy the cars the big guys reject — but we are not a junk buyer. These fall outside this buying program, and we would rather tell you now than waste your time:
The R1T launched Rivian for 2022 as the first modern electric pickup to reach customers: a quad-motor truck at first, later joined by dual-motor and Performance variants, with an adjustable air suspension, a gear tunnel behind the cab, and range up to roughly 400 miles in Max pack form. A major refresh for 2025 revised the electrical architecture and motors. It is a startup's first vehicle, with the innovation and the ownership friction that implies.
For an R1T in Los Angeles, the battery configuration and motor setup are the listing — Dual or Quad, Standard, Large, or Max pack — along with any accident history, because body repairs on these are slow and expensive. Note the tyre condition; these trucks eat tyres, and a fresh set is real money in the car's favour.
A heavy, very fast electric truck wears its tyres quickly — 15,000 to 20,000 miles a set is common, and replacements in the R1T's sizes are expensive. Owners facing their second or third set, on a truck they may not use as a truck, often decide the experiment is over.
The early powered tonneau covers jammed and failed so reliably that Rivian redesigned the mechanism; trucks with the original cover carry a known fault. The fix involves service scheduling and parts waits, and the saga is one of the most-cited reasons early owners give for selling.
The height-adjustable air suspension that makes the R1T clever also ages: compressors, valve blocks, and air springs are wear items, and faults can leave the truck kneeling or riding harshly. Out of warranty, the quotes push owners toward the exit.
Rivian's service footprint is a fraction of the legacy brands', and collision repairs in particular can wait weeks on parts and approved shops. For owners who need their truck daily, one long repair wait is often the whole reason for selling.
Every one of these is a condition answer on the form — report it and it is priced in from the start, never discovered at pickup.
Enter the VIN to auto-fill the year, make, and model — or skip it for now and enter those details yourself. The VIN is optional at intake and mandatory before booking.
Answer the same 14 condition questions our buyer checks at pickup. The condition page defaults to no issues — open the checklist only if something applies.
See the offer path and share your number for follow-up. Any later changes wait for admin review.
In most cases, yes — that is a known R1T issue and it is priced into the offer from the condition answers you submit, not discovered at pickup. Describe it honestly and the offer already reflects it.
Our buyer checks the VIN, title, mileage, and the same condition items you submitted for your R1T. If everything matches, you sign the transfer paperwork, receive payment, and hand over the keys — and the tow is free in Los Angeles County.
We buy Rivian R1T vehicles across the 2022–2025 range we commonly see, and we will look at older ones case by case. Condition matters more than the year — a high-mileage R1T that starts, drives, and has a working key is exactly what the form is for.
It comes down to the individual car: year, mileage, trim, and the 14 condition answers. We review every application by hand and send one clear offer, guaranteed for 7 days when the car matches its description — no automated lowball and no haggling at the curb.
