Your Fiat 500X (2016–2023) is a subcompact crossover SUV — and in Los Angeles County there is always another buyer for one that runs. Skip the listing, the messages, and the no-shows: one intake, one clear offer, free pickup.
The offer we make is the offer you get for 7 days.*
The price holds as long as the vehicle, title, mileage, and condition match what you submitted. If hidden or unreported damage is found at pickup, we’ll make the adjustment and give you a counter-offer on the spot — and the decision is yours.

Common 500X problems we still buy
Oil consumption on the 2.4L Tigershark
The 2.4L Tigershark engine is well documented for oil consumption, sometimes using a quart between services, and low oil can trigger stalling safeguards. Owners tired of monitoring the dipstick on a small crossover frequently sell rather than pursue consumption remedies.
Nine-speed automatic behavior
The ZF nine-speed automatic shared with the Renegade can shift roughly, hesitate, and hunt at low speeds, and software updates only partly tame it. Transmission complaints are the top owner gripe, and they are a common reason 500Xs are sold.
Electrical and infotainment faults
Used 500Xs surface Uconnect glitches, sensor faults, and battery-related warning cascades, along with power window and lock issues as they age. The faults are individually minor, but dealer diagnosis on a discontinued Fiat frustrates owners into selling.
Cooling and thermostat issues
Thermostat failures and coolant leaks appear on both engine families, and overheating a small turbo or Tigershark engine risks larger damage. An owner who has already had one temperature scare will often sell the crossover rather than risk another.
Every one of these is a condition answer on the form — report it and it is priced in from the start, never discovered at pickup.
The 500X generations we buy
The 500X ran from 2016 to 2023 as Fiat's subcompact crossover, on the same platform as the Jeep Renegade, with front- or all-wheel drive. Early cars offered a 1.4L turbo with a manual gearbox or a 2.4L four with a nine-speed automatic; from 2019 the range simplified to a 1.3L turbo, the nine-speed automatic, and standard all-wheel drive.
State the engine and drivetrain, since the 1.4L manual, 2.4L, and later 1.3L turbo cars drive very differently. The 500X shares service realities with its Jeep Renegade platform-mate, and documented transmission and oil service are useful records to include.
What we buy — your 500X included
Japanese vehicles of any age — Toyota, Honda, Nissan, and Subaru hold up in Southern California, and we price them that way.
Fixable issues welcome — Battery, glass, panels, and exterior damage from the 12-point checklist — each priced in plainly.
Most 2010-and-newer cars — Sedans, SUVs, and vans from any maker, clean or with fixable issues.
Trucks of any age — Pickups are the top of our want list — working trucks, high-mileage trucks, Japanese trucks included.
Where the line is
We buy the cars the big guys reject — but we are not a junk buyer. These fall outside this buying program, and we would rather tell you now than waste your time:
No working key
Blown engine
Shot transmission
Major structural damage
Heavily stripped
Trash-filled or severely neglected
How selling your 500X works here
01
Start with the basics
Two minutes of details: what the car is, how many miles it shows, and where in Los Angeles County it is parked. Title situation included — complicated paperwork is okay.
02
Check the condition boxes
The 12-point condition list is the whole pricing basis. Report a failed smog, a failing catalytic converter, or a dead battery up front and it is priced in, not discovered later.
03
Decide on your schedule
Your offer holds for 7 days. Pick a pickup window that suits you, sign the transfer paperwork when we arrive, and get paid at pickup.
500X seller questions
Do you buy a 500X that failed smog?
Yes. Smog failure is one of the 12 condition answers, so the offer accounts for it up front. You do not need to pay for diagnosis, repairs, or a retest before pickup.
What happens on pickup day?
Our buyer checks the VIN, title, mileage, and the same condition items you submitted for your 500X. If everything matches, you sign the transfer paperwork, receive payment, and hand over the keys — and the tow is free in Los Angeles County.
Can I sell a 500X with a lien or a lost title?
Yes to both — name the lender or pick the title situation that matches yours in the form. Complicated paperwork is part of what we handle, and we explain the correct next step before scheduling.
My 500X has over 150,000 miles. Is that a problem?
High mileage alone does not disqualify a 500X. If it starts, drives, and has a working key, report the mileage honestly in the form and we will price the whole car, not just the odometer.
