Sell a Toyota Land Cruiser, Every Generation
The Land Cruiser is the one Toyota line we buy in every generation — from the original FJ40 through today's trucks — because four-wheel drive is not an option on it, it is the point.
The offer we make is the offer you get for 7 days.*
The price holds as long as the vehicle, title, mileage, and condition match what you submitted. If hidden or unreported damage is found at pickup, we’ll make the adjustment and give you a counter-offer on the spot — and the decision is yours.

All generations, from the FJ40 to today
Most Toyota classics on this site start in the seventies. The Land Cruiser starts at the beginning. We buy the original FJ40 and its siblings, the FJ55 wagon, the FJ60 and FJ62 wagons of the eighties, the FJ80 of the nineties, and the 100 and 200 Series trucks that followed, through to the modern trucks. No generation in that line is excluded, and each one has its own following — the FJ40 for the early-truck purist, the 60 Series for the wagon traveller, the 80 Series for the overland buyer, the later trucks for the driver who wants a classic with modern road manners.
That breadth is deliberate. Land Cruisers were kept, used hard, and passed down more than almost any other truck, and the complete, solid examples are still surfacing in Los Angeles County. If yours is complete and not rusted through, the generation does not decide whether we buy — condition does.
What an inspection reads on a Land Cruiser
A Land Cruiser inspection follows the same order as our classic car hub and our classic Toyota page: completeness first, then body and frame, then originality and specification, then running state. On a Land Cruiser, three things get extra attention. Rust — in the floors, the frame, and the rear quarters — is the make-or-break factor, because these trucks spent decades outdoors. Originality — the correct engine and drivetrain for the generation — helps the number. And four-wheel-drive equipment, standard on the line, should be present and, where it can be, working.
A hard-used Land Cruiser is expected and priced as one. Dents, faded paint, a worn interior, and high miles are ordinary condition. A complete truck that does not run, even with a genuinely failed engine, can be bought; a truck missing major parts, or rusted through, cannot.
Selling a Land Cruiser here
Tell us the generation, the year as best you know it, and the truck's honest condition — including the rust you can see. We inspect it where it sits in Los Angeles County, walk you through what we found, and make an offer from that inspection. If you accept, you are paid at pickup and we tow it free. No fees, no consignment, no obligation if the number does not work.
Classic seller questions
Which Land Cruiser generations do you buy?
All of them — FJ40, FJ55, FJ60 and FJ62, FJ80, 100 and 200 Series, and the modern trucks. No generation is excluded; condition decides the price within each one.
What matters most on a Land Cruiser inspection?
Completeness, then rust in the floors, frame, and rear quarters, then originality of engine and drivetrain. A rusted-through truck is the one condition we cannot buy.
My Land Cruiser was used hard off-road. Is that a problem?
No — hard use is expected on these trucks and is priced in as condition. Completeness and a solid body and frame matter far more than a clean past.
My Land Cruiser does not run. Will you buy it?
If it is complete, yes — even with a dead engine. An incomplete truck, missing major parts, or one rusted through is the honest exception.
